Assist in design and analysis of high-voltage transmission line civil structures.

About the Role
• Work under the direction of Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s). • Conduct analyses, modeling, calculations, and prepare design sketches and concept drawings. • Collaborate with Designers and CAD Technicians to produce construction drawings meeting national standards, safety codes, and project specifications. • Assist in preparing cost estimates or specifications. • Participate in field reviews and construction observation. • Design and analyze structural performance of high‑voltage transmission structures and foundations. • Perform typical design tasks such as structure spotting, conductor sag and blowout calculations, foundation design, hardware selection, and bill of materials development while considering permitting, right‑of‑way, public involvement, access roads, and construction requirements.

What You Bring
• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; experience with Bentley ConceptStation, Autodesk Infraworks, Civil 3D, or specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows). • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate (candidates without EIT may be hired as Transmission Design Coordinators with expectation to obtain EIT). • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
