About the Role

The Senior Geotechnical PE/PM will lead utility-scale wind and solar projects, oversee subsurface investigations and laboratory testing, perform complex geotechnical analyses, develop calculation packages, specifications, and reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and clients. • Serve as engineering lead/project manager for utility-scale wind and solar projects. • Oversee planning and execution of subsurface investigations and laboratory testing for site characterization. • Perform complex geotechnical and soil-structure analyses for foundations, earthwork, dewatering, slope stability, and access roads. • Develop and review calculation packages, geotechnical reports, design memoranda, and specifications. • Review project specifications, create scopes of work, schedules, and budget estimates for proposals. • Mentor entry-level engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams, subcontractors, and clients.

RRC is seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in energy, industrial, or transportation projects to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. The firm is a multi-disciplinary engineering company specializing in renewable energy projects across the United States.
