About the Role

• Champion DP World’s business and product strategy. • Provide hands‑on technical leadership and mentor engineering teams. • Collaborate with product management to iterate features rapidly and grow the business. • Balance short‑term and long‑term goals while preventing unnecessary redundancies. • Establish and promote design/development guidelines, deployment strategies, best practices, and a security‑first approach. • Ensure compliance with DP World policies, including information security and the Code of Conduct. • Indirectly manage and develop an engaged engineering team, fostering collaboration and goal alignment. • Represent DP World positively, upholding Founder’s Principles, safety standards, and ethical conduct. • Simplify complex problems while meeting time‑to‑market requirements without compromising design principles. • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple organizations to drive alignment.

What You Bring

• Own software design, architecture, and operational excellence for cargo products. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s a plus). • Approximately 15 years of software development experience across a wide range of technologies. • 5‑10 years leading architecture and design functions and managing enterprise architecture. • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills. • Demonstrate bias for action in fast‑paced, ambiguous projects. • Experience with tools and standards for software development, testing, deployment, and operational excellence.
