About the Role

Service Technicians diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm, electronic fire alarm systems, and related building system products at customer sites. They provide the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and act as trusted advisors, delivering solutions and outcomes at the time of service. Technicians follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures, consulting technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to repair equipment. They service, troubleshoot, and install card access, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems, read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and schematics, and communicate consistently with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction. Service acknowledgments are completed via smart phones or laptops, customer signatures are obtained, and on‑call emergency service is provided. Technicians also recommend solutions, provide quotes, and pursue upselling opportunities while performing other assigned duties. • Diagnose, service, and repair card access, CCTV, burglar alarm, and fire alarm systems at customer sites • Follow troubleshooting procedures using manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins • Install and program card access and CCTV systems; read blueprints and specifications • Provide high-level customer service, obtain signatures, and submit service acknowledgments via mobile devices

What You Bring

We require 1‑3 years documented experience with card access and CCTV, knowledge of test equipment, and experience installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming these systems; fire alarm experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints and product manuals, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform physical labor including lifting 50‑70 lb and working at heights up to 40 ft or in confined spaces. Strong customer service, organizational skills, a positive attitude, and adherence to safety guidelines are essential, along with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background and drug test. • Available for on-call emergency service and offer recommendations, quotes, and upselling opportunities • 1‑3 years experience with card access and CCTV; knowledge of test equipment and blueprint reading • Ability to lift 50‑70 lb, work at heights up to 40 ft, and operate in confined spaces • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background/drug test • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and adherence to safety guidelines
