About the Role

The Asset Management Analyst reports to the Middle Office Operations department and works closely with Power Operations, Structuring, Origination, Risk Management, and IT to implement solutions that improve business operations. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external partners on risk assessment, integration, and implementation of short‑ and long‑term contracts throughout their lifecycle. The role also manages project milestones and identifies needed process changes. The analyst provides operational support by monitoring contract asset performance, facilitating dispute resolution, and performing end‑to‑end data validation in collaboration with various teams. Additionally, the analyst researches and analyzes data to inform business decisions, develop insights, and contribute to corporate strategy and long‑range planning. • Collaborate with internal and external partners to assess, integrate, and implement short‑ and long‑term energy contracts. • Manage end‑to‑end project milestones and identify necessary process changes for contract implementation. • Provide operational support, monitor contract asset performance, and validate data across teams. • Research and analyze data to develop insights, recommendations, and support long‑range planning. • Lead moderately complex projects, defining scope, deliverables, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, SOX, and audit guidelines. • Drive process improvements and maintain updated documentation of procedures. • Oversee vendor selection, monitor performance, and manage service level agreements. • Support negotiations with utilities, energy companies, and government agencies.

What You Bring

Two levels are open – Financial Risk Analyst (Grade 6/P2) and Senior Financial Risk Analyst (Grade 7/P3) – with the offer determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience. Candidates need in‑depth utility or commodities knowledge, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to use best practices to improve processes and solve complex problems with minimal guidance. Core duties span specialization in project management and research, delivering data and analytics to support strategy, conducting scenario modeling, managing moderately complex projects, ensuring regulatory and SOX compliance, improving processes, overseeing vendor management, and supporting negotiations with external parties. Required education is a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field. Experience ranges from two‑plus years for the intermediate level to five‑plus years for the senior level, with preference for renewable‑energy industry experience.
