About the Role

The Material Handler moves material throughout the distribution center—receiving, re‑stocking, picking, packing, and shipping—to support order fulfillment. Our company fosters an environment of creativity, invention, and discovery where bold professionals can reach their full potential. New hourly hires undergo a 90‑day introductory period focused on safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity, after which performance is evaluated for continued employment. Daily duties include retrieving the correct styles and quantities from warehouse locations, inspecting items visually, and confirming counts with scanning equipment. Materials are placed in containers, loaded onto pallets, and staged in appropriate receiving areas. Using packing slips, the handler generates move tickets, breaks down and sorts material, and restocks locations via RF scanners. Products are then inspected, packed, and labeled for shipment, with packing material added to protect items during transit. • Retrieve and verify materials using picking processes and RF scanners. • Load, unload, and stage pallets in receiving and shipping areas. • Inspect products, pack cartons, and apply packing and shipping labels to prevent damage. • Generate move tickets from packing slips and restock warehouse locations. • Resolve order discrepancies and research solutions to ensure accuracy. • Operate stand‑up forklift, cherry picker, or reach truck safely. • Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards during a 90‑day introductory period.
