About the Role

The Project Coordinator tracks and reports work progress while comparing ongoing work against planned schedules and KPIs. They create forecasts and projections to predict future resource needs and project timelines, using gathered data and analytics to understand trends, identify inefficiencies, and make data‑driven decisions to optimize schedules and ensure projects stay within budget. The role also assists in managing and serving as the point of contact with internal departments during planning and execution of projects. • Organize, plan, and coordinate department activities and schedules. • Schedule and track outages for planned projects. • Document and track project progress, milestones, and communicate status updates and issues to stakeholders. • Serve as point of contact for internal departments and vendors during project planning and execution. • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimize schedules and resources. • Assist with planning and scheduling vendor activities. • Coordinate procurement of supplies, materials, and services. • Field emergency calls and assist with dispatching technicians. • Develop reports and dashboards for internal departments and customers. • Create projections to predict future resource needs and project timelines. • Determine and coordinate human resources, material, tools, and equipment for scheduled activities. • Create and update standard operating procedures and training documents for departmental processes.

What You Bring

The position is primarily performed in an office setting using standard office equipment such as desks, computers, phones, printers, and copiers. Employees must be able to lift 50 lb and possess a valid state driver’s license. CGS will provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws for qualified individuals with disabilities. • High school diploma or GED required. • At least 5 years experience supporting senior leadership/management. • Minimum 3 years experience handling confidential information and generating reports. • Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and ability to manage multiple critical issues in a changing schedule. • High attention to detail with strong diplomatic, organizational, time‑management, critical‑thinking, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency with office equipment and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise mature judgment. • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required intelligence community clearance. • Valid state driver’s license. • Ability to lift 50 lb. • Experience with Microsoft Project or other project‑management software. • Knowledge of government contracts, correspondence, reports, and records. • Experience in facilities management, construction, or maintenance environments. • College degree in a related field (preferred). • IFMA Facilities Management Professional (FMP) credential or similar (preferred). • Possess required security clearance (preferred).
