About the Role

As the Warehouse Manager you will oversee and continuously improve day‑to‑day activities at the regional hub in Chicago, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy and productivity. You will support operational performance and lead initiatives that enhance workflows, reduce costs and improve service delivery. You will be accountable for the overall success of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and shipping goods, while supervising and developing staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining safety compliance. • Oversee receiving, storing, and shipping of goods • Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff • Ensure inventory accuracy and manage cycle counts • Implement and uphold safety regulations with visible leadership • Monitor key performance metrics and address deviations • Manage infrastructure integrity and planning • Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs • Collaborate with internal and external teams on continuous‑improvement projects

The role offers an experienced leader the chance to own warehouse operations, driving safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment. Sandvik is a leading supplier of equipment, tools, services and technical solutions for the mining and construction industry with global operations. The ideal candidate holds a relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics or business management and has at least five years of leadership experience in warehouse or logistics environments. Strong people‑management, problem‑solving and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably experience with WMS such as SAP. • Minimum 5 years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience • Relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics, or business management • Strong leadership and team‑development skills • Experience with FTZ warehouse operations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; WMS (e.g., SAP) experience preferred • Knowledge of financial risk controls, goods returns, dispatch, and credit processes
