About the Role
The Assembly Technician is responsible for building and modifying a variety of medium- and high-voltage components, from breakers and auxiliary compartments to power modules and related sub‑assemblies. Daily tasks include wiring, mounting electrical equipment, and conducting routine lifts of heavy copper parts. The technician also completes required checklists, monitors Kanban inventory, inspects finished assemblies for quality, and addresses change notices or customer‑driven adjustments. Collaboration with engineering, drafting, and supervision is essential to support development work and ensure accurate documentation. • Assemble, wire, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies and sub‑assemblies. • Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists and documentation. • Mount and install electrical equipment, perform wire operations, and lift heavy copper parts. • Maintain Kanban inventory levels and report shortages. • Inspect assemblies for missing hardware and cleanliness. • Respond to change notices and customer‑requested adjustments. • Assist engineering and drafting with development work. • Train and coach colleagues on procedures and skill development.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience in a similar assembly role, including the use of hand and air tools. Strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities are required, as is flexibility to work overtime when needed. Proficiency with standard computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook/Teams and ENOVIA is expected, and applicants should reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC unless they are active‑duty military. • Possess a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of relevant assembly experience. • Proficient with hand and air tools and able to read electrical/mechanical drawings. • Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication, analytical problem‑solving, and teamwork skills. • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime to support business needs. • Use Microsoft Outlook/Teams and ENOVIA effectively. • Live within 50 mi of Greenwood, SC (active‑duty military exempt).
