About the Role
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for securing fire detection and electronic security installation projects across a defined territory by developing and strengthening relationships with regional clients. You will lead the sales cycle, conduct building surveys and design systems, and receive full support from surveyors, designers, and estimators for large and sophisticated projects. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will work with key contacts in the education, healthcare, industrial and large commercial sectors to build opportunities, bid on projects and present technical information to board level. Leads will be handled and sales performance driven using Salesforce, with estimator or Technical Bid Manager support available for complex proposals. Your key objectives are pipeline growth and conversion improvement to meet defined sales targets. • Secure fire detection and electronic security installation projects across assigned territory. • Lead the full sales cycle, including building surveys and system design. • Develop and strengthen relationships with regional clients in education, healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors. • Generate leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce. • Collaborate with estimators and technical bid managers on large or sophisticated proposals. • Grow pipeline and improve conversion rates to meet defined sales targets. • Communicate effectively with operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service. • Conduct building surveys and design fire and/or security systems (preferred).

What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with proven success in account management, specification sales or project sales within a technical sector, as well as experience in business‑to‑business technical solutions sales. The role requires the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills to engage operational departments, and the capability to develop and expand relationships throughout an organisation. A full UK driving licence is also required. Preferred candidates can survey buildings and design fire and/or security systems, and have experience with CRMs such as Salesforce.com. However, we will provide training for strong individuals who are willing to learn, supported by our market‑leading technical and sales teams. • Demonstrate proven success in account, specification, or project sales within a technical sector. • Exhibit strong B2B technical solutions selling experience and the ability to work independently. • Maintain a full UK driving licence. • Utilize CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com (preferred).
