About the Role

The Building Manager oversees the overall management, maintenance, and operational performance of the Devan Nair Institute, ensuring that building services meet established KPIs, standard operating procedures, statutory obligations and contractual requirements while delivering excellent service to tenants and stakeholders. JLL leverages artificial intelligence to match candidates with opportunities and maintains a robust privacy framework for handling personal data throughout the recruitment process, complying with legal and business requirements. • Lead the onsite team and service vendors in managing all building systems and facilities. • Ensure staff and vendors follow approved procedures and meet KPI, SOP, and statutory requirements. • Review and vet documents, submissions, and reports for accuracy before submission to e2i. • Manage public and tenant feedback and complaints promptly within agreed timeframes. • Prepare and submit timely, accurate management reports to e2i. • Oversee maintenance regimes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring works are completed as planned. • Plan, organize, and implement maintenance programs, improvement works, and tenant‑related projects. • Coordinate tenancy and maintenance works to minimize operational disruption. • Develop and execute yearly improvement and preventive‑maintenance budgets. • Maintain proper records of transactions, accounts, and documentation related to building management. • Conduct regular tenant engagements and maintain open communication on operational matters. • Manage vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service standards.

What You Bring

• Qualifications: Diploma (8+ years) or Degree (5+ years) in Building Services, Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Property Management, or related field. • Preferably a Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) registered with the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
