About the Role
The DeWALT Service Technician position joins the Product Services team as an on‑site employee in a production‑style environment. In this role you will support the repair and maintenance of portable electric, pneumatic, construction, and outdoor equipment, contributing directly to product reliability for customers worldwide. • Repair portable electric, pneumatic, construction, and outdoor tools, disassembling units to replace worn or defective components. • Troubleshoot tool failures using mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service data. • Perform safety and performance testing on equipment after repairs. • Complete work orders with accurate parts, labor pricing, and customer information. • Manage inventory accuracy for parts and accessories. • Achieve daily productivity goals for the number of tools repaired. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and support additional duties as assigned. • Interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and printed service data. • Apply knowledge of electricity principles and airflow related to power tool operation. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment. • Perform basic mathematical calculations.
