About the Role
The Account Manager role for LoopNet in London focuses on selling subscriptions and online advertising solutions to a diverse client base, from independent agents to large property owners, fund managers and brokerage firms. While the position is primarily new‑business focused, the manager will also inherit a small portfolio of existing accounts and be expected to grow revenue from them within an assigned territory. Key responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle—prospecting, delivering product demos, closing deals, onboarding, training and renewing clients—using a consultative approach to understand their needs. The manager will conduct in‑person demonstrations, provide market insights to stakeholders such as owners, investors and lenders, and represent CoStar at industry events and networking opportunities. • Sell subscriptions and online advertising products to clients ranging from independent agents to global property owners and fund managers. • Manage a defined territory, acquiring new business while growing revenue from inherited existing accounts. • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, demonstrating, closing, onboarding, training, and renewing contracts. • Conduct in‑person product demonstrations for prospects and existing clients. • Provide market insights to owners, investors, lenders, surveyors and service providers. • Represent CoStar at industry events and network with property professionals. • Maintain and expand client relationships over 3‑12 month sales cycles. • Navigate large organisations to identify decision‑makers, influencers and blockers.
