About the Role

The Temporary Technology Support Specialist joins a team that enables over 1,800 employee‑owners to stay productive with technology tools such as laptops, Zoom Rooms, Office 365, and Wi‑Fi. The role handles intake, triage, troubleshooting, resolution, and documentation of reported issues, primarily focusing on escalated tickets while occasionally taking initial calls or portal tickets. This temporary position is based in Pasadena, CA, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until a robust pool of qualified candidates is identified. In this role you will solve internal employee technology service tickets, record issues accurately in the ticketing system, and follow up to verify resolution and satisfaction. You will troubleshoot incidents to determine root causes, resolve them directly when possible, and use the internal knowledge‑base along with external resources for efficient problem solving. Additional duties include assisting with network and server administration, analyzing technology trends to suggest mitigations, managing Active Directory user accounts, and serving as a point of contact for sub‑regional business leaders. You will also conduct quarterly training sessions on technology tools and perform other duties as assigned. • Resolve internal technology service tickets and document them promptly. • Escalate complex or severe issues to appropriate technology team members. • Troubleshoot incidents to identify root causes and resolve without escalation when possible. • Leverage internal knowledge‑base and external resources for efficient problem solving. • Assist with network and server administration under Infrastructure team direction. • Analyze technology trends and recommend mitigation solutions. • Manage Active Directory user accounts (add, edit, remove). • Act as a technology liaison for sub‑regional business leaders. • Conduct quarterly training sessions on technology tools for staff.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold an Associate’s Degree or equivalent and have at least four years of related experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCSE are strongly preferred, and proven experience in a customer‑facing technical support role is required.
