About the Role

In this position, you will drive the performance of the facility‑based healthcare business, manage local client coordination, and execute cross‑selling initiatives in concert with regional and national leaders. You will also represent WSP at industry events, leverage a global network of subject‑matter experts, and mentor junior staff while upholding safety and compliance standards. • Develop new healthcare client relationships and expand WSP's sector footprint in South Jordan, UT. • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver electrical engineering solutions for healthcare facilities. • Balance business development activities (≈25%) with project execution responsibilities (≈75%). • Coordinate local client efforts and cross‑selling initiatives with regional, district, and national teams. • Represent WSP at client and industry events to gather market intelligence and build pipeline. • Leverage global technical expertise to provide integrated responses to complex client challenges. • Mentor and train junior staff, promoting safety, compliance, and professional growth.

What You Bring

The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, be a licensed Professional Engineer, and bring at least 12 years of experience in healthcare electrical engineering, design, and construction management. A strong local network and deep knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and permitting processes are essential. Preferred qualifications include LEED AP certification, an additional decade of project management experience, and a background in quality‑assurance reviews. These credentials will support the continued growth and technical leadership of the regional practice. • Hold a B.S. in Electrical or Architectural Engineering and maintain an active Professional Engineer license. • Bring 12+ years of healthcare industry experience, including engineering management and construction oversight. • Maintain an extensive local network and deep familiarity with electrical codes and regulatory requirements. • Preferred: LEED AP certification, 10+ years of project management experience, and quality‑assurance expertise.

The expected salary range for this role is $155,300 – $239,140, with compensation determined by the candidate’s education, experience, and internal equity.
