About the Role

Responsibilities include planning repairs, designing solutions, providing technical support, and updating record drawings. The engineer also manages program execution to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet mission requirements. Developing and administering Activity/Asset Management Plans (AMP) is essential to translate Air Force objectives into asset‑related decisions while balancing risk, resources, and lifecycle considerations. Supervising personnel, equipment, tools, and vehicles and coordinating with U.S. forces and Saudi partners are also key duties. The incumbent must be available within two hours of notification to meet with government personnel, ensure contractual performance objectives are met, and deliver services to approximately 4,000 personnel. Proper utilization, accounting, and safeguarding of government and contractor property, as well as timely contractual submittals, are required. • Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S., Saudi, DoD, and host‑country standards and codes. • Plan, design, and support repair and maintenance projects. • Provide technical support and maintain accurate record drawings. • Manage program execution to meet mission‑critical schedules. • Develop Activity/Asset Management Plans balancing risk and resources. • Supervise personnel, equipment, tools, and vehicles for civil engineering functions. • Coordinate with U.S. forces and Saudi partners and share information as required. • Respond within two hours of notification to meet with government personnel. • Deliver engineering services to approximately 4,000 base personnel. • Safeguard and account for government and contractor property. • Prepare and submit required contractual documentation on time. • Maintain an active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.

What You Bring

The role requires strict compliance with U.S., Saudi, DoD, and host‑country regulations, including EPA, OSHA, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE, NEC, and a variety of building and fire codes. The engineer must ensure that all site activities meet these standards throughout design, construction, and maintenance phases. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varied climates and may involve exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals, and hazardous conditions. Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lb (team lifts up to 50 lb), climbing, and wearing required personal protective equipment. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, U.S. citizenship with a valid passport and driver’s license, and an active Secret clearance. Candidates must be fluent in English, have experience in contingency environments and government contracts, possess strong project‑management skills, and meet CENTCOM theater requirements. A Professional Engineer license or PMP certification is highly preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and U.S. citizenship with valid passport and driver’s license. • Fluent English communication skills (read, write, speak). • Experience in contingency environments and government contracts. • Strong project‑management, organizational, and decision‑making abilities. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools. • Meet CENTCOM theater requirements. • Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Commitment to ESG principles and sustainable operations.
