About the Role
You will act as the primary client contact for technical service and maintenance, diagnosing and resolving industrial refrigeration/chiller issues within agreed timeframes. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) per contract, clearly communicating findings and recommending upgrades. Prepare detailed technical reports for the Service Coordinator and client, keeping health and safety as a top priority. Work independently while contributing to team success in a mobile role, Monday‑Friday, with a 1‑in‑7 standby rotation. • Serve as primary client contact for technical service and maintenance. • Diagnose and resolve industrial refrigeration/chiller system issues within agreed timeframes. • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and recommend improvements or upgrades. • Prepare detailed technical reports for the Service Coordinator and client. • Work a mobile Monday‑Friday schedule with a 1‑in‑7 standby rotation. • Interpret electrical schematics, piping diagrams and psychometric charts.

What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with F‑GAS 2079 certification and a refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, ideally with an Ammonia Handling Certificate. Experience with HFC systems—and preferably Ammonia and CO₂—and familiarity with major manufacturers such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer and Howden is required. Knowledge of DX, pumped, flooded and multistage systems, plus the ability to interpret electrical schematics, piping diagrams and psychometric charts, is essential. A full UK driving licence, self‑motivation, a positive attitude and strong teamwork are also required. • Hold F‑GAS 2079 certification. • Possess a refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, ideally with an Ammonia Handling Certificate. • Have experience with HFC systems, and preferably with Ammonia and CO₂ systems. • Be familiar with major manufacturers such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer and Howden. • Know DX, pumped, flooded and multistage refrigeration systems. • Hold a full UK driving licence.
