IT Hardware Technician

About the Role
We are hiring an entry‑level IT Hardware Technician for our Columbia, SC office. The role provides internal support to the organization, focusing on imaging, configuring and shipping in‑house Windows 10/11 laptops and assisting team members with hardware and software issues. • Image, configure and ship Windows 11 laptops following company checklists. • Install Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and third‑party software. • Update inventory system for processed equipment and maintain ticket status in the IT help‑desk system. • Provide remote assistance, use Active Directory/Azure AD for permissions and password resets. • Create UPS shipping labels, pack laptops and peripherals, and coordinate warranty repairs with vendors. • Document hardware failures, repairs, installations and removals; escalate tickets when necessary. • Process, ship and receive cell phones, accessories, printers and other equipment as needed.

What You Bring
• Familiarity with Windows 10 OS and hands‑on laptop repair; strong organization, troubleshooting and communication skills; ability to multitask and deliver high‑level customer service. • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; A+ or Dell hardware certification (in progress or earned); 6‑12 months of endpoint hardware repair experience; CompTIA A+ certification (in progress or earned).

Benefits
The position is full‑time with an hourly salary range of $20.72‑$26.23, based on experience, geography and client requirements.
