About the Role

The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end WhiteCap.com experience across the full customer journey, leading a team of three Product Managers. It serves as a liaison between Product, Experience, and Commerce to ensure alignment around shared outcomes. The position translates company‑level strategy and P&L priorities into a cohesive product vision, roadmap, and operating model that delivers customer value and business results. You will own the holistic product vision and roadmap for both B2B‑first and B2C use cases, ensuring individual team roadmaps align with enterprise goals such as revenue, adoption, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role balances short‑term commercial needs with long‑term platform strategy, makes trade‑off decisions, and leads, coaches, and develops three Product Managers. A strong product culture based on customer empathy, data‑driven decision‑making, and continuous improvement will be fostered. Deep understanding of end‑to‑end customer journeys—including search, browse, pricing, checkout, fulfillment, and post‑purchase—is essential for identifying cross‑journey opportunities that single teams cannot solve. You will establish shared KPIs and success metrics across Product, Experience, and Commerce, ensuring teams are measured on business and customer outcomes. The role partners closely with Commerce and P&L leaders, serves as the primary product partner to senior leaders across Engineering, UX, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations, and communicates strategy, progress, risks, and impact to executive stakeholders. • Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for WhiteCap.com across B2B and B2C channels. • Align product team roadmaps with enterprise outcomes such as revenue, adoption, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Balance short‑term commercial demands with long‑term platform architecture and health. • Make and escalate trade‑off decisions across timelines, teams, and investments. • Lead, coach, and develop three Product Managers, setting clear expectations for outcomes and accountability. • Foster a product culture centered on customer empathy, data‑driven decisions, and continuous improvement. • Ensure comprehensive understanding of the full customer journey (search to post‑purchase) and prioritize cross‑journey initiatives. • Establish shared KPIs and success metrics across Product, Experience, and Commerce, measuring business and customer outcomes. • Partner with Commerce and P&L leaders to align incentives, priorities, and investment decisions. • Serve as the primary product liaison to senior leaders in Engineering, UX, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations. • Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and impact clearly to executive stakeholders. • Resolve conflicts between experience quality, speed to market, and commercial performance.

What You Bring

The position typically operates in a comfortable indoor environment with mostly seated work and occasional light lifting, and requires less than 10 % overnight travel. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and at least seven years of relevant experience are required, with a preference for candidates who have seven-plus years of Product Management experience, people‑leadership skills, B2B eCommerce expertise, and a strong track record of cross‑functional partnership in P&L‑driven settings. • Minimum BS/BA in a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience; 7+ years of product management experience with people‑leadership preferred.
