About the Role

What You Bring

The Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) will learn to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer, and control systems in a complex fulfillment center. The role combines classroom, laboratory, and on‑the‑job learning, culminating in promotion to Mechatronics & Robotics Technician after completing a 12‑week college program and one year of on‑the‑job learning. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test, and be able to attend training at one of four designated colleges. Basic qualifications also require proficiency with Microsoft Office and flexibility for varied schedules; preferred candidates have prior experience in electrical, mechanical, or controls fields. Physical demands involve lifting up to 50 lb, reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, and using an aerial lift while wearing appropriate PPE. • Communicate effectively within team environments in both school and OJL settings. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; be at least 18 years old; pass Mechanical Aptitude Test. • Complete one year of on‑the‑job learning as a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Able to work flexible schedules, lift up to 50 lb, reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and use an aerial lift while wearing required PPE. • Preferred: prior experience in electrical, mechanical, or controls field.
