About the Role
The Enabling Works Site Supervisor will join a complex infrastructure project in Dublin, overseeing safe, timely, and efficient delivery of site preparation, utility diversions, demolitions, surveys, environmental monitoring and specialist works. The role ensures readiness for main construction while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance. • Lead and oversee all enabling works activities, including site preparation, utility diversions, demolitions, surveys, environmental monitoring, and specialist tasks. • Develop detailed project schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress against program objectives. • Promote a strong safety culture through regular safety tours and prompt issue resolution. • Manage quality assurance and inspection processes to ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry standards. • Supervise contractor performance, staff competence, and resource allocation to optimise efficiency. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication and progress updates. • Implement risk mitigation strategies and propose cost‑effective solutions. • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and NEC4 contract requirements.

What You Bring
• Bring 5–10 years of experience, including 3+ years on large‑scale railway or infrastructure projects, with a Level 6/7 (NFQ) or equivalent degree in engineering, construction, or project management. • Demonstrated experience in enabling works to prepare sites for main construction and knowledge of safety, health, and welfare regulations. • Familiarity with NEC4 contracts and strong commercial awareness on large projects. • Knowledge of railway construction processes, materials and techniques; ability to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules. • Proven capability to identify risks, adapt to changing conditions, and implement mitigation measures. • Expertise in quality assurance, construction monitoring, and compliance with technical drawings and standards. • Effective decision‑making and problem‑solving skills in a dynamic construction environment. • Additional professional qualifications (e.g., MCIOB, MICE membership) are advantageous.
