About the Role
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing all outbound shipping activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of aerospace products. This role serves as the primary point of contact for shipping execution, carrier coordination, documentation accuracy, and ERP transaction integrity while supporting production schedules, customer commitments, and regulatory compliance. The coordinator partners closely with Production, Quality, Customer Service, and Materials to ensure shipments meet customer requirements, export controls, packaging standards, and internal procedures in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. Daily duties include coordinating outbound shipments, preparing shipping documentation such as packing slips, bills of lading, certifications, and export paperwork, and verifying part numbers, quantities, lot traceability, packaging requirements, and labeling accuracy before shipment. Additional responsibilities involve scheduling carrier pickups, obtaining freight quotes, resolving transportation issues, executing accurate ERP shipping transactions, maintaining complete records for audit readiness, investigating discrepancies, and supporting export compliance (ITAR/EAR) and aerospace quality standards (AS9100). • Coordinate daily outbound shipments to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments. • Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, certifications, and export paperwork. • Ensure correct part numbers, quantities, lot traceability, packaging, labeling, and secure palletization. • Schedule carrier pickups, obtain freight quotes, and resolve transportation delays. • Execute accurate ERP shipping transactions and maintain audit‑ready records. • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and documentation errors. • Support export compliance (ITAR/EAR) and aerospace quality standards (AS9100).

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination experience (preferably in aerospace or regulated manufacturing), strong ERP and shipping software knowledge, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and cross‑functional communication abilities. Preferred experience includes a background in the aerospace and defense industry, and the role is within an innovative, tech‑driven environment that impacts iconic brands such as Stanley Tools, DeWalt, Craftsman, MAC Tools, and Black + Decker. • Require high school diploma/GED, 3–5 years shipping or logistics experience, ERP proficiency, and forklift certification.
