About the Role
In this position you will analyze complex RFID data from retail settings, develop and maintain SQL queries, and design data models to support business intelligence and reporting. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data requirements, manage and optimize database systems, and produce dashboards and reports that highlight key metrics. Ongoing responsibilities include documenting data processes, monitoring and troubleshooting issues, conducting data audits, and supporting data governance initiatives. • Analyze and interpret RFID data sets from retail environments. • Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. • Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and reporting. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and deliver insights. • Manage and optimize database performance while ensuring data integrity. • Create and maintain dashboards and visual reports that track key metrics. • Conduct data audits and support data governance policies. • Document data processes and provide training on tools and best practices. • Evaluate and recommend new data tools and technologies. • Contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows.

What You Bring
This high‑visibility role sits within Sensormatic’s leading client team, where you will define, create, and build advanced data visualizations from custom client data. You will work alongside solution and data experts, helping to scope and define client engagements and translating requirements into actionable insights. Strong customer‑facing, organizational, and management abilities are essential, as is deep familiarity with client environments, data repositories, ETL standards, and security protocols. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information technology, or a related field and has at least five years of data‑analyst experience, preferably in retail. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with RFID technology, data modeling, and warehousing are required, while experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and independent work skills are also needed. • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information technology, or related field. • Minimum 5 years experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in retail. • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. • Hands‑on experience with RFID technology and its retail applications. • Expertise in data modeling and data warehousing concepts. • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
