About the Role
In the Assembly Technician role, you will assemble, wire, and modify work based on specified guidelines for medium and high voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, power modules, and related sub‑assemblies. You will handle complex assemblies, fill out ISO, quality, customer, feedback, and production checklists as required, and mount and install electrical equipment while performing wire operations. Routine lifting and assembly of heavy copper parts, maintaining minimum Kanban inventory levels, and reporting shortages are also part of the duties. Additionally, you will inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness, respond to change notices and customer adjustments, and assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work. The role also involves training and coaching colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development. • Assemble, wire, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies and related sub‑assemblies. • Complete ISO, quality, customer, feedback, and production checklists. • Mount, install, and wire electrical equipment; lift and assemble heavy copper parts. • Maintain Kanban inventory minimums and report shortages. • Inspect assemblies for missing hardware and cleanliness. • Respond to change notices, customer adjustments, and development requirements. • Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision on customer‑initiated projects. • Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge and develop skills.

What You Bring
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in a SG36 assembly role, and at least one year of manufacturing experience in an industrial setting using hand and air tools. Candidates must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship, reside within a 50‑mile radius of Greenwood, SC (with active‑duty military exemptions), and no relocation assistance is provided. Position criteria require strong verbal and written communication, persuasive and analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in team environments. Flexibility to work overtime, proficiency with hand and power tools, step ladders, cranes, and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook/Teams and ENOVIA are also needed. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of SG36 assembly experience. • Possess minimum one year of industrial manufacturing and hand/air‑tool experience. • Must work in the U.S. without sponsorship and live within 50 mi of Greenwood, SC (military exempt). • Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication, persuasive and analytical problem‑solving abilities. • Work flexibly, including overtime, in a Lean team environment. • Proficient with hand/power tools, step ladders, cranes, Microsoft Outlook/Teams, and ENOVIA.
