About the Role

The Signage & Wayfinding Designer role is a proactive position that works with client and consultant teams to develop intuitive navigation systems, including signs, maps, and digital guides, for complex project environments. In this role you will design and implement integrated signage and information solutions that are brand‑aligned, accessible, and easy for diverse user groups to understand, supporting the overall client project goals. The position operates in a collaborative setting across architecture, design, and construction teams, with occasional site visits and travel, aiming to enhance user experience and reduce wayfinding confusion in challenging environments. • Conduct site analysis, user research, and review architectural plans and behavior patterns. • Study existing project reports to implement approved wayfinding strategies. • Develop comprehensive wayfinding strategies, concepts, and visual systems. • Align designs with client systems, masterplans, and guidelines provided by consultants. • Create signage, symbols, maps, digital guides, and prototypes that integrate branding and accessibility. • Collaborate with architects, clients, PMC’s, contractors, and manufacturers to coordinate public realm and infrastructure designs. • Review shop drawings and construction documents, manage mock‑ups, and oversee production and installation. • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as ADA and address diverse visual and physical user needs.

What You Bring

Successful candidates will hold a degree in architecture, landscape architecture or a related field, possess extensive experience in signage and environmental graphics, demonstrate strong visual and communication skills, and be proficient with design software such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD. • Hold a degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture or a related discipline. • Provide 8+ years of proven experience in signage, environmental graphics, or wayfinding. • Demonstrate strong visual design, problem‑solving, communication, user empathy, spatial orientation, and knowledge of accessibility principles. • Proficient in design software including Revit/Revizto, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, with SketchUp as a plus.
