About the Role
The Human Resource Generalist supports the HR Business Partner by managing HR processes such as health and benefit plan administration, employee relations, and policy development. The role serves as the primary contact for daily HR questions, ensures accurate record‑keeping, and handles HRIS data entry. • Assist in selection, planning, and administration of health and benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. • Manage and process insurance documents through payroll and insurers to ensure accurate deductions and record‑keeping. • Provide customer service by answering employee requests and questions. • Complete and verify Forms I‑9, maintaining I‑9 files when the HR assistant is unavailable. • Submit online requests and support new‑employee background checks. • Assist with processing employee terminations. • Make photocopies, mail, scan, and email documents while performing other clerical duties. • File documents into appropriate employee files. • Assist or prepare correspondence as requested. • Prepare new‑employee files.

What You Bring
• Minimum four years of HR experience, including payroll processing. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Associate degree (AA/AS) in a business‑related field. • Bilingual in English and Spanish. • Construction‑industry experience preferred.
