About the Role
Key duties include assembling conduit boxes and endbell assemblies, setting up testers to verify motor performance, making necessary adjustments, and preparing motors for delivery by applying nameplates, labeling, wrapping, and stacking them on skids. Workers also gather and verify all required components, identify defective workmanship, maintain production and quality standards, and keep the work area clean and safe. • Assemble conduit boxes and endbell assemblies. • Set up and test motors to ensure defect‑free operation. • Make adjustments and prepare motors for shipment (nameplates, labeling, wrapping, stacking). • Identify, gather, and verify required motor components. • Report defective workmanship to the department lead. • Maintain production and quality standards. • Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures. • Assist in training other employees. • Paint electric motors according to print specifications. • Use power and hand tools, soldering irons, fixtures, gauges, and small machines.

What You Bring
The position involves entry‑level and semi‑skilled assembly and repair operations for electric motors. Employees read and interpret model folders and connection diagrams, handling tasks such as pre‑assembly, testing, packing, building, and preparation for shipment. The role requires physical stamina, including lifting loads of 25‑75 lb, frequent bending, twisting, standing, and reaching above shoulder level. Employees must wear safety glasses and appropriate personal protective equipment, and be capable of using power and hand tools, soldering irons, fixtures, gauges, and small machines. A high school diploma is preferred, along with blueprint‑reading experience and prior use of power/hand tools and measuring devices. Computer proficiency, spray‑painting experience, and the ability to wear a respiratory mask are also valued. • Lift 25–75 lb loads repeatedly; stand, bend, twist, and reach frequently. • Wear safety glasses and required PPE at all times. • High school diploma (preferred). • Blueprint‑reading experience. • Proficiency with power/hand tools and measuring devices. • Computer skills and spray‑painting experience.
