About the Role

The role involves comprehensive management of network security infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and related devices. The candidate will execute replacement, commissioning, firmware and signature updates, and ensure proper backup and recovery procedures. They will also be responsible for installing and configuring NMS software and maintaining compliance with RIL cyber‑security standards. In addition to technical duties, the position requires thorough analysis of logs, alerts, and traps to detect anomalies, verification of firewall rules, and collaboration with domain controller policies. The incumbent will implement cyber‑security advisories, manage anti‑virus and data‑loss‑prevention tools via ePO, and perform regular whitelisting and hardening of servers and endpoints. Experience of at least four years, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with various agencies are essential. • Manage firewalls, switches, and network security devices, including firmware updates and IPS/I4DS signatures. • Install, configure, and maintain NMS, backup, and recovery software. • Analyze logs, alerts, and traps from firewalls, switches, ePO, WSUS, and NMS to identify anomalies. • Verify and tune firewall rules and domain controller policies per RIL‑EIC guidance. • Implement cyber‑security advisories, update AV scanner patterns, and manage anti‑virus, anti‑malware, HIPS, and DLP via ePO. • Perform whitelisting and hardening of servers and endpoints, and execute cyber‑security audit tools. • Conduct root‑cause analysis of incidents and propose remediation actions. • Configure VLAN and DMZ networks, update BIOS firmware, and apply software patches. • Maintain asset inventory, generate KPI‑based cyber‑security performance reports, and support disaster‑recovery planning. • Coordinate with OEMs, agencies, and internal teams; communicate effectively with crew.
