About the Role
Associate Photographers in the East Bay/Oakland area use top‑of‑the‑line Matterport Pro3 cameras, digital photography equipment, and iPads to create virtual tours, floorplans, and high‑quality images of residential homes and apartments for Homes.com and Apartments.com. They manage a core territory, schedule appointments, and work closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and a remote Photography Manager to deliver timely media assets. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floorplans using Matterport Pro3 equipment. • Produce high‑quality residential photography for marketing purposes. • Coordinate appointments with scheduling and dispatch teams to meet client demands. • Conduct commercial real estate data coverage in one‑mile grids when not on residential jobs. • Adhere to CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment use. • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. • Participate in 401(k) plan with matching contributions and employee stock purchase program. • Access CoStar’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion employee resource groups.

What You Bring
The position requires up to eight hours of driving, standing, and walking daily, with the ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to five pounds and perform repetitive hand movements on tablets and cameras. Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions and be available for rotating weekend schedules. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management. • Require at least 2 years of professional experience and real‑estate photography background. • Hold an FAA Part 107 drone certification (or obtain within 30 days of offer). • Demonstrate strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and accurate data entry. • Proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a clean driving record check. • Able to work up to 8 hours daily, lift equipment up to 5 lb, and handle rotating weekend schedules.
