About the Role

• Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, quality, and workplace cleanliness. • Directly supervise personnel in FAB, Ancillary Weld, and Paint departments, set daily expectations, and monitor MDI performance. • Enter and escalate information in the ERP system to maintain inventory, recommend purchases, track labor hours, and manage records. • Ensure adherence to production schedules, establish priorities, and allocate resources effectively. • Oversee required documentation, including TCC paperwork, for products moving through Pre‑Assembly operations. • Lead daily employee interactions through morning huddles and clear communication. • Support employee development by creating standard work and delivering hands‑on training. • Establish performance goals and provide feedback for annual and mid‑year evaluations. • Cultivate a positive work environment that encourages engagement, pride, customer focus, accountability, and innovation. • Observe safety and security procedures, take appropriate actions, report hazards, and use equipment properly. • Identify and resolve problems promptly, gather and analyze information, develop alternatives, and contribute to group problem‑solving. • Pursue training, continuously build technical knowledge and skills, and teach techniques to improve performance. • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, covering responsibilities when absent. • Ensure high accuracy and thoroughness, teach quality improvements, lead feedback discussions, and monitor work for quality. • Exceed productivity standards, complete work defect‑free and on time, and lead teams to work efficiently.

What You Bring

A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree or technical school training preferred. Candidates need at least three years of production leadership experience and demonstrated supervisory skills. The role requires the ability to read and write simple instructions, present information to small groups, and apply basic math concepts such as percentages and ratios. Strong problem‑solving abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems are essential. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, outdoor weather, and potential electrical shock, with moderate noise levels. Employees must stand, walk, sit, use their hands, and communicate regularly. The role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb) and adequate vision for close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. • Exhibit confidence, inspire and motivate others, influence actions, accept feedback, provide vision, and recognize achievements. • Communicate clearly and persuasively, listen actively, respond to questions, and participate in meetings.
