About the Role

The Aerial Foreman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, handling installation and repair of aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cables. Responsibilities include pole placement and relocation, establishing safety perimeters, reviewing project plans for compliance, directing on‑site activities, completing documentation, and communicating with supervisors while leading in‑house crews and overseeing daily schedules and productivity. • Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable. • Place, relocate, and remove poles and lines; handle open‑wire, drop, and block wire. • Set up safety perimeters with signage, cones, and barriers. • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design. • Direct on‑site activities and lead in‑house crews. • Complete required documentation and record crew time. • Communicate with area supervisors or managers. • Oversee daily schedules, deliveries, and crew productivity. • Maintain OSHA safety standards; hold OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications. • Perform coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial & underground construction. • Operate bucket trucks, diggers, and Derek trucks; lift up to 70 lb and climb up to 35 ft. • Read and interpret work orders and CTV cable prints. • Work on call, including evenings and weekends, in fast‑paced, changing environments. • Participate in employee assistance program and Red Wing boot voucher.

What You Bring

Qualified candidates prioritize safety and have at least three years of telecommunications construction experience, including coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and both aerial and underground work. They must be comfortable operating bucket trucks, diggers, and Derek trucks, possess OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications, lift up to 70 lb, climb up to 35 ft, read work orders and cable prints, and be able to work on call in fast‑paced, changing environments. • Demonstrate leadership, coaching, and mentoring of team members. • Meet physical requirements: lift 70 lb, climb 35 ft, work outdoors in all weather.
