About the Role

The Laborer performs manual labor tasks across various aspects of a construction job site, delivering high-quality work safely and productively. The individual must stay aware of safety hazards, operate tools correctly, and ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and information are available. Opportunities for improvement are encouraged, and the worker should be willing to learn from others while working in plant operations or construction settings. • Perform general clean-up of work sites • Dig footings using hand tools • Load and unload construction materials • Strip concrete forms • Operate power tools such as vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, and chipping guns • Prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, and remove rubble and debris • Assist other craft workers as needed • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds • Work on uneven, muddy, loose rock, sand, or in confined spaces • Perform prolonged bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, and standing • Wear a respirator when required and endure heat, cold, rain, etc. • Apply decision-making skills and maintain detail-orientation
