About the Role

The HR Coordinator will serve as a bridge between the Branches, BSC, and NearU Human Resource Department. This contract position lasts three months and supports recruitment and HR by building relationships with candidates, new hires, and existing employees while executing the NearU onboarding processes and assisting as a sourcer. • Coordinate pre‑employment activities such as background checks, drug screening, and MVR. • Initiate electronic onboarding for candidates and maintain communication with new employees. • Launch new‑hire safety and compliance training. • Complete HR new‑hire electronic forms, including E‑Verify and policy acknowledgments. • Support legal compliance by managing expired documents and filing records. • Assist with processing or auditing terminations as needed. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices. • Assist in coordinating and communicating HR activities or programs. • Maintain trackers for various onboarding activities. • Proactively source candidates on Indeed to support recruitment.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in human resources. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail‑oriented abilities. • Effective relationship‑building skills. • Ability to influence and manage upward. • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with minimal oversight. • Maintain high professionalism, leadership presence, ethics, and appropriate demeanor. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or extensive HR experience. • Experience with HR information systems, applicant tracking tools, and job boards.
