About the Role
The position involves supervising and overseeing outage work while also handling any additional duties assigned by management. What You Bring
The role requires the ability to read and interpret construction prints, plans, and technical manuals, as well as proficiency with industrial hand and power tools. Applicants should have strong problem-solving abilities, good reading comprehension, manual dexterity, and the capacity to work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, and operate from platforms. A minimum of four to five years of experience as a Boilermaker Foreman is preferred, and reliable transportation is essential. Teamwork and effective communication with co‑workers and supervisors are critical, and candidates must demonstrate commitment to Zachry’s safety values and regulations. While prior Zachry employment or previous supervisory experience is valued, it is not a mandatory requirement. The job demands extensive physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, and the occasional handling of heavy objects, as well as the use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, and steel‑toe boots. Employees will work in all weather conditions and at varying elevations, with noise levels ranging from moderate to high. • Complete Zachry Supervisor training • Work safely at heights, ladders, stairs, and platforms • Preferably 4–5 years experience as a Boilermaker Foreman • Pass criminal background check and meet pre‑employment physical requirements • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving and manual dexterity • Use industrial hand and power tools safely • Communicate effectively; be a team player • Valued: former Zachry employee or prior supervisory experience • Perform extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying • Wear required PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, and steel‑toe boots
