About the Role
Mechanical Project Managers supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on our projects. They work closely with mechanical trades superintendents, subcontractors, and members of the RQ team to deliver quality work that meets government specifications, budget constraints, and schedule targets, from conceptual design through completion. This role supports RQ’s mission, vision, and values by ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.

What You Bring
A 4‑year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, though a high school diploma or GED meets the minimum education requirement. Courses in project management, construction management, mechanical trade, BIM, or CADD are advantageous. Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager overseeing projects of $5 million or more in commercial or government settings. Preferred experience includes work in government, military, or large commercial construction, especially within the design‑build sector, and a track record of managing medical center or dental facility projects. Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6, and BIM/CAD software is desired, with training available if needed.
