About the Role
Key responsibilities include overseeing all construction activities, coordinating complex sequencing of MEP systems and critical equipment, implementing robust quality and risk management programs, and managing contractor selection and performance. The manager will also develop detailed schedules, control project costs, provide regular progress and financial reporting, collaborate with design and operations teams to solve technical challenges, and act as the primary client liaison throughout the construction phases. • Oversee all construction activities for data center projects, managing contractors and vendors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery. • Coordinate complex construction sequencing, including MEP integration, critical equipment installation, and commissioning preparation. • Implement comprehensive quality control programs and proactively manage construction risk through issue identification and mitigation. • Lead contractor selection, negotiate change orders, resolve disputes, and maintain productive relationships with key industry partners. • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, monitor budgets, track cost variations, and provide regular progress and financial reports. • Collaborate with design, commissioning, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and ensure proper system integration. • Serve as primary construction liaison with clients, delivering updates, hosting site visits, and coordinating with JLL project management and client services. • Established relationships with leading data center contractors, MEP specialists, and critical equipment suppliers.

What You Bring
Candidates must bring at least 20 years of construction management experience, with a minimum of 15 years focused on mission‑critical facilities such as data centers or hospitals, and a proven track record of delivering over 15 data center projects. The role requires deep technical expertise in power distribution, emergency generation, precision cooling, fire suppression, and building automation, strong leadership and negotiation abilities, and established relationships with key industry partners. Preferred qualifications include experience with hyperscale data centers, international projects, sustainable construction practices, and proficiency with BIM and digital construction platforms. • Minimum 20 years construction management experience, with at least 15 years in mission‑critical facilities such as data centers or hospitals. • Proven track record managing 15+ data center construction projects, including traditional and modular delivery methods. • Deep expertise in electrical distribution, emergency power generation, precision cooling, fire suppression, and building automation for high‑density computing environments. • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills for managing large teams and presenting to senior executives. • Preferred experience with hyperscale data center projects, international construction, sustainable/LEED practices, and BIM/digital construction tools. • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and BIM coordination tools. • Familiarity with commissioning management systems and digital documentation platforms.
