About the Role
The Journeyman Electrical Service Technician performs residential electrical service work—troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades—ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local and national electrical codes. • Diagnose and repair service panels, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting. • Install and upgrade residential electrical systems to meet code requirements. • Perform Level 2 EV charger installations, including site assessments and panel upgrades. • Conduct safety inspections and ensure code compliance. • Communicate work details and recommendations clearly to homeowners. • Complete service tickets, time logs, and material usage documentation. • Remain on-call to respond to emergency situations. • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years residential electrical experience. • Valid State Journeyman Electrician license. • Strong knowledge of NEC and state code requirements. • Proficient with hand and power tools. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities. • Strong communication and customer‑service skills. • Valid driver’s license meeting company driving standards. • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. • Preferred: experience installing residential Level 2 EV chargers.
