About the Role
The role focuses on designing fire alarm systems according to account standards, reviewing technical specifications, preparing submittals and RFQs, and ensuring compliance and cost efficiency. The engineer will coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors, maintain KPIs, manage schedules and budgets, and produce detailed AutoCAD designs, calculations, and templates while overseeing project scope, change control, and risk management. • Design fire alarm systems per account standards and project requirements • Review technical specifications, prepare submittals, and issue RFQs to suppliers • Create compliance documents, cost comparisons, and detailed AutoCAD drawings • Coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors throughout project phases • Maintain KPIs, manage schedules, budgets, and additional resources to meet deliverables • Perform hardware detail design, battery and voltage‑drop calculations, and wiring diagrams • Develop templates and project‑specific standards for complex fire alarm systems • Conduct quality checks, ensure compliance with QMS procedures, and identify improvement opportunities

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an ME/BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Telecom, possess at least eight years of fire and security system design experience, be proficient in AutoCAD, and understand NFPA 72, IBC, and related codes. • ME/BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Telecom • Minimum 8 years experience in fire and security system design and engineering • Strong AutoCAD proficiency and knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC, and related codes • Ability to deliver projects on time, develop work practices, and minimize engineering changes • Excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork, and self‑motivation
