About the Role

The role focuses on delivering digital solutions for advanced structures, leveraging SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to create applications, automated workflows, and visual analytics. Integration with existing engineering toolchains and data sources is essential to enhance productivity, data quality, and decision‑making across teams. The position also involves defining project scope, setting timelines, managing milestones and risks, and producing concise presentations and reports for varied audiences. Collaboration with product, engineering, and IT stakeholders ensures solutions are operationalized with proper access, security, and governance. • Lead development of SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for advanced structures. • Build secure workflows, applications, and dashboards, integrating them with engineering toolchains and data sources. • Automate processes using Python (APIs, ETL) and TCL for interfacing with engineering environments. • Design and model databases with SQL and DataMart concepts, ensuring performance and governance. • Collaborate with cross‑functional product, engineering, and IT teams to operationalize solutions, managing access, security, and governance. • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans. • Prepare clear presentations and reports for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, computer science, data, or IT disciplines. Required expertise includes SharePoint development, Power Platform solutioning, Python programming for automation, TCL for engineering interfaces, and hands‑on experience with SQL databases and data modeling. Additional capabilities that strengthen the profile are Java or JavaScript development (including SPFx/TypeScript), exposure to AI/ML or large language models, and the ability to embed solution outputs into engineering dashboards or custom web applications. Knowledge of aerospace standards such as DO‑178C or ARP4754, as well as familiarity with CAE/CAD/PLM tools, is advantageous. • Preferred: develop with Java/JavaScript (SPFx/TypeScript), incorporate AI/ML/LLM capabilities, and embed outputs into CAE/CAD/PLM tools such as HyperMesh, NASTRAN, CATIA, and Teamcenter. • Familiarity with aerospace standards (DO‑178C, ARP4754) and safety‑critical practices is a plus. • Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) are beneficial.
