About the Role
Under general supervision, the architect will assist in creating detailed exterior and interior drawings, collect and analyze data from sites, surveys, GIS, and environmental sources, and conduct research and inspections to verify compliance with applicable rules and permits. Additional duties include performing routine architectural functions, verifying site characteristics for structural soundness, generating accurate 2D/3D visualizations, completing assigned training, and adhering to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies. • Assist in preparing detailed exterior and interior building drawings. • Collect and analyze site data, surveys, GIS, and environmental information. • Conduct research and inspections to ensure compliance with codes and permits. • Produce accurate 2D/3D visualizations and renderings using industry software. • Follow WSP’s Code of Conduct and health, safety, and ethical policies. • Maintain safety standards and adapt to flexible project schedules, including occasional travel.

What You Bring
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (or a closely related discipline) with 0 to 1 year of post‑education experience. Candidates must possess knowledge of architectural principles, building planning, drawing standards, and construction management, along with strong creative, visualization, and technical drawing skills. Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, as well as effective communication, self‑leadership, and safety awareness, are essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (0‑1 yr experience) with strong design and technical drawing skills. • Demonstrate proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and MS Office. • Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences.

The expected salary range for this role is $69,900 to $96,030, with final compensation determined by education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location.
