About the Role

• Handle inbound sales from various sources and coordinate with internal departments for timely customer service • Greet and transact business with walk‑in showroom traffic professionally and positively • Coordinate sales and rentals with outside sales, drivers, and the service department • Manage rental reservations, contracts, transportation arrangements, and payments accurately and promptly • Sit/stand for long periods with frequent bending • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

At Milton Rents, a leader in the heavy equipment rental industry, we are seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative who is passionate and eager to make a difference. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will build strong relationships, understand equipment requirements, and provide rental and sales support for a wide range of top‑tier equipment, including Caterpillar earthmoving machines, aerial equipment, generators, and more. A background check and drug test are required as part of the pre‑employment process. • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer‑first attitude • Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to adopt new technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.) • Must be at least 18 years old • High School diploma or GED; trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred • Customer service and/or sales experience preferred • General knowledge of construction industry or equipment preferred • Valid driver’s license • Lift up to 50 lbs
