About the Role
As a Consulting Associate, Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement in our Minneapolis office, you will play a key role in helping clients communicate with the public, government agencies, and community stakeholders. Your work will enable organizations to navigate complex sustainability and regulatory challenges while building transparency, trust, and meaningful engagement, contributing directly to new business opportunities. • Monitor traditional and social media to identify trends, risks, and insights. • Research and maintain stakeholder databases, preparing reports for clients or regulators. • Summarize research, draft meeting notes, and create communication materials such as fact sheets and newsletters. • Coordinate logistics for public meetings, including venue selection, scheduling, catering, and on‑site needs. • Support project tasks including tracking, mail merges, proofreading, online research, file maintenance, and collateral preparation. • Follow project‑specific health and safety requirements. • Provide cross‑practice support to other ERM practice areas as needed.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Political Science or a related field (or equivalent experience), demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, and is detail‑oriented with the ability to manage shifting priorities. Interest in public relations/public affairs, internship experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and social‑media familiarity are required; Spanish fluency, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop experience, and local residency are preferred.

Benefits
The position offers an anticipated annual base pay of $61,584–$68,000, with potential bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and retirement plans such as 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP.
