Laborer - Commercial Construction
Assist on construction sites with material handling, demolition, and carpentry support.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform a wide variety of duties and assist tradespeople, including carpenters • Load, unload, and move materials from pallets, skids, trucks, or other locations • Transport materials to or from storage or work sites • Drive equipment as needed • Conduct selective demolition, concrete placement, or flagging • Stack and assemble materials into bundles • Make simple repairs and adjustments to machinery or trucks • Take initiative to find work activities while waiting for next task • Assist carpenters with partition layout, framing, sheetrock installation, and other rough and finish carpentry • Build temporary protection such as barricades, visqueen, and floor protection • Perform general clean‑up including vacuuming, sweeping, and rubbish removal • Demolish non‑load‑bearing walls, ceilings, and flooring and clean up debris

What You Bring
• Work independently with little direction • Relevant experience in commercial construction (preferred) • OSHA 10 certification (preferred) • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lb • Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and able to multitask • Task‑oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines • Self‑motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team
