About the Role
The role involves conducting comprehensive third‑party inspections of electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire‑safety systems, as well as foundations, concrete slabs, framing, and roofing. The incumbent will review design plans, suggest revisions, and provide recommendations to contractors, engineers, or architects. Daily time sheets and Inspection/Field Reports must be prepared and submitted in line with ECS policy, while adhering to all safety procedures. • Conduct third‑party inspections of electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire‑safety systems. • Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activities. • Review design plans, recommend revisions, and advise contractors, engineers, or architects. • Prepare and submit daily time sheets and Inspection/Field Reports per ECS policy. • Market services by maintaining client relationships and participating in business‑development activities. • Follow all ECS safety procedures and policies.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold at least a high school diploma or GED and have two years of code‑compliance inspection experience for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. An NCP CCI commercial certification in these trades is required, along with any additional state‑specific licenses or certifications needed for testing. A strong working knowledge of state and local building codes, policies, and procedures is essential, and a valid driver’s license is required when operating vehicles for ECS subsidiaries. • Minimum high school diploma or GED required. • At least 2 years of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing code‑compliance inspection experience. • NCP CCI commercial certification for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing required. • Required certifications for all testing performed; additional state‑specific licenses may be needed. • Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures. • Valid driver’s license required when driving for ECS subsidiaries.
