Senior Network Engineer designing and implementing rail communications IP networks
Job Highlights
About the Role
The engineer will design and implement communications projects that include radio sites, microwave links, IP nodes, voice and data solutions, fiber‑optic and copper transmission, and power‑supply systems. Working within the communications engineering team, the position focuses on design, testing and integration of IP networks. • Develop high‑level and detailed design documentation for communications projects. • Configure and integrate routing and switching equipment. • Participate in factory and site testing and commissioning activities. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues. • Produce engineering reports and manage project priorities while multitasking.

What You Bring
• CCNP‑qualified with 10+ years of networking experience and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent). • Extensive knowledge of Cisco routing/switching, IP/MPLS, BGP4, OSPF, and rail‑sector engineering.
