About the Role

KBR is seeking an Imagery Scientist to support advanced geospatial intelligence missions. The role focuses on processing and analyzing non‑literal electro‑optical passive sensor data from satellite and aerial platforms to develop high‑quality intelligence products. • Process and analyze non‑literal EO passive sensor data to extract spectral, spatial, and temporal intelligence. • Produce analysis reports, data deliverables, technical imagery science reports, shapefiles, signatures, and visualizations. • Develop and apply custom algorithms and workflows using Python, MATLAB, and specialized tools. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate imagery science outputs into broader GEOINT assessments. • Stay current with emerging remote sensing technologies and recommend process improvements.

What You Bring

The scientist will apply expertise in remote sensing, image exploitation, and geospatial analysis to derive actionable insights for defense, national security, and related applications. • Bachelor’s degree in Imagery Science, Remote Sensing, Physics, EE, Geospatial Sciences, or related field; Master’s/PhD preferred. • 4+ years of professional experience in imagery science, remote sensing analysis, or GEOINT exploitation. • Proficiency in Python (required), MATLAB, and ArcGIS/ArcPy for scripting and geospatial analysis. • Hands‑on experience with ESRI suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap) and ENVI for hyperspectral/multispectral processing. • Strong foundation in signal processing, photogrammetry, and custom imagery processing pipelines. • Expertise across satellite/aerial platforms, hyperspectral, infrared, SAR, and multispectral sensors. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and senior briefings. • Active TS/SCI security clearance (preferred).
