About the Role
The utility engineer will work under a Project Manager on urban and rural highway projects, oversee CAD designers, prepare detailed roadway designs, and contribute from site feasibility through construction. The role also includes limited project‑management duties and client interaction, with additional tasks as needed. • Serve in a technical role under a Project Manager on urban and rural highway/roadway projects. • Oversee CAD Designers and possibly other EITs. • Prepare detailed engineering designs for roadway and highway projects. • Participate from site feasibility analysis through final design and construction phases. • Assume project management duties and interact with clients as needed.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design (Preferred Qualification). • Bachelor’s degree. • Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) for the job location. • Hands‑on experience with highway CAD software (Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, Civil3D). • Proficiency in MS Office. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignments, geometric layout, and CAD base alignment plans.
