About the Role
Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the store. Duties include operating cleaning machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and occasional tasks such as cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and keeping trolley bays clear of debris. All health and safety procedures must be followed, and Arcus provides full training. • Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as needed. • Maintain trolley bays free of leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect app.

Join Arcus as a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner at Sainsbury’s Wilmslow, a fixed‑term role until February 2026. The position offers 18 hours per week at £12.21 an hour, with an immediate start available. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week, and Arcus provides flexible shift patterns, including five‑ and six‑day weeks. Shifts run across early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening slots, with the current schedule covering Sunday (06:00–12:30), Tuesday to Friday (16:00–19:00), and days off on Monday and Saturday, plus weekend work.
