About the Role
Mortenson is hiring a Laborer Journeyman who will be responsible for preparing, handling, and supplying materials to other craft trades. The role focuses on supporting construction activities by ensuring necessary resources are ready and available on site. • Load and unload equipment. • Erect and dismantle 5x7x16 scaffolding and staging; level ground for scaffolding. • Tend, lift, unload, move, set, and shovel mortar and grout; place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete. • Perform general cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, washing, and disposal or burning of debris. • Provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentice. • Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. • Operate power and hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. • Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb (assistance required for loads over 50 lb).
