About the Role
The role involves maintaining a clean and safe marina environment while greeting residents and guests with exceptional service. You will promote a family‑friendly atmosphere, ensure amenities are ready, prepare the valet dock area, and perform daily boat maintenance. Additional duties include completing opening and closing procedures, side work, inventory management, and fostering a culture of safety by communicating concerns promptly. • Maintain a clean and safe marina environment and adhere to uniform standards. • Greet residents and guests, provide exceptional customer service, and promote a family‑friendly atmosphere. • Prepare the valet dock area, stock fridges and freezers, and manage daily boat maintenance tasks. • Execute opening and closing procedures, complete side work, and assist with inventory restocking. • Communicate safety and maintenance concerns promptly and promote water safety practices. • Record daily facility usage and report charges to the Outdoor Pursuits office. • Assist with slip rentals for daily moorage and enforce club policies and procedures. • Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours as needed.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a maritime or recreational boating setting, strong knowledge of knot etiquette, boat safety, and waterway regulations, and preferably CPR and basic first‑aid certification. A positive attitude, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—are required. Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather, stand for extended periods, and lift items over fifty pounds is also essential. • Prior experience in a maritime or recreational boating environment; knowledge of knot etiquette, boat safety, and waterway laws. • CPR and basic first aid certification preferred. • Demonstrate a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Collaborate effectively in a team, staying calm and focused during peak periods. • Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather, standing >8 hours, and lifting >50 pounds.
